Flag Day is a celebration of our country's history, recognition of Burton veterans and a time to come together as a community in appreciation of the values that unite us. This special event will feature live music, engaging historical reenactors, and classic old-fashioned ice cream floats that bring a sense of nostalgia and family-friendly fun.

Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on the significance of the American flag while enjoying a welcoming, festive atmosphere designed for all ages.

This meaningful celebration is made possible through the collaboration of valued community partners, including the Burton Area Historical Society, Flint Institute of Music, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 3, Daughters of the American Revolution and The Williamson Foundation.

The celebration of our awesome country will take place at Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church. The event will happen rain or shine. Please bring your lawn chair.

The event is free but donations will be collected for the Vietnam Veterans of America, Genesee County Chapter 175 Moving Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
