Through the generosity of The Williamson Foundation, a week of projects throughout Burton is planned for May 16th to May 23rd.

9:00 AM | Get supplies and a donut at Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church
10:00 AM | Community Clean-Up
Noon | Go Home
The goal is to pick-up 100 bags of garbage during LoveBurton Week. Day One of LBW is powered by Keep Michigan Beautiful and Keep Genesee County Beautiful.

There will be two volunteer days at the Fire Station #2 Park. Day Two will focus on getting the playground ready for Burton families to enjoy this summer. Bring a rake!

In partnership with Concept HOPE, cat shelters will be built for distribution to feral cat colonies. Dinner will be provided.

Thursday, May 21
Day six of LoveBurton Week will focus on cleaning out drains in our neighborhood and throughout the city. Taking 5 minutes to clear the debris will help improve drainage. It's simple!
This activity is inspired by the great work of the Flint River Watershed Coalition.

6:00 PM | Assemble flower pots at Solid Rock Community Church
8:00 PM | Go Home
Volunteers will fill decorated flower pots with beautiful flowers. The flower pots will be shared with seniors at Hampton Manor Senior Living, Lockwood of Burton and Burton Place. Dinner will be provided.

All the flower pots assembled on Friday will be delivered on Saturday morning to our friends at Hampton Manor Senior Center, Lockwood of Burton and Burton Place.
Over 100 flats of flowers will be shared with Burton residents in the afternoon. Come out and help!
